SALVATION

That If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and believe in thine heart that God
raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved

ROMANS 10:9

What is Salvation?

Salvation: Deliverance, Refuge  and or Safety.

All are in need of salvation. We all seek shelter from the harsh reality of truth that is attached to the bondage of sin.  Bound to destruction, deceit, demonic influences and the inability to exercise the will of God. Today,  we will hear the voice of the Lord,  and we will not Hearden our hearts. The Lord Jesus Christ can and will deliver us, he and he alone can provide us with refuge; He is the only safety net that we have from sin. Take hold of the mighty hand of God. Allow His love to cleave unto your heart, it will lead us into the paths of righteousness.  When we seek refuge from sin in the truth and ask for deliverance through the light,

we can find a place of refuge from the storm.

Why Do I Need Salvation?

There is no peace without God.

There is only one way to God and that is through the Lord  Jesus Christ.  We can look high and low but we will never find it without the Lord Jesus. We were created to thirst after the righteousness of God. Blessed are them who thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

We are all guilty of sin before God. God is a holy God, he cannot and will never have any contact with sin.

The stench of our sin separates the guilty (us) from

the loving arms of a merciful God.

When we knock God opens the door to our

heart to find the way out, out of the deadly plight of

sin.  We can than by faith walk into the light.

Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life.

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

1-Confess with your Mouth

The Lord Jesus

2-Believe in your heart

God Raised him from the Dead

Thou shall be Saved

With the mouth confession is made unto Salvation

Faith

Now faith is the substance of

things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen

Hebrews 11:1

With the heart man believe unto righteousness

Believe

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst just believe,  all things are possible to him that believe.

Mark 9:23

One Heart Going One Way

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus

and shall believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.

Romans 10:9-10

Dear heavenly Father, we thank you for the power of Salvation.

Our confession of faith we make on this day securing our salvation.  We open our mouths to speak into existence our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our hearts are open and we receive righteousness because we believe that you raised our Lord Jesus from the dead for our sins.

By faith we are saved, we have received your gift of grace.

We are eternally grateful that there is no charge for your love; you have already paid the price.  Our way of escape from the darkness that surrounds us has been revealed.  Through the precious blood of your Son Jesus Christ our sins and iniquities have been forgiven, sin can no longer keep us bound.

Now the seed of faith has been planted deeply within our hearts.

By the power of your mighty hand we are no longer separated from being in the presence of our God.

We are no longer outcast in your kingdom, but we have by our faith expressed our trust in you.

Lead us by your Holy Spirit as we go forth, let your promise of faith continue to rein in our hearts forever. We are delivered from all guilt and shame. We have hope in the confession that we have made in our hearts and with our mouth unto righteous and unto salvation. Help us Lord to stand by faith upon the foundation of the power of your love.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
